Heart Surgery needed

For over 3 years I had been experiencing pain in the chest while walking on a gradient. I underwent an Angiogram at Narayana Hrudayalaya Bangalore in  Sep 2010. Dr RaviKishore said there were no major blocks & no bypass surgery was called for & he prescribed a few medicines. But as days passed by there was no improvement in my condition & I was having the same problem of pain in the chest especially after food/breakfast. Last Friday (20th Sep 2013) after food I was walking home from the bus stop & the pain was very severe with nausea. I thought this must be due to some Gastro Intestinal problem & I consulted Dr Vijayakumar at Mallya Hospital on 23rd Sep 2013. He totally ruled out that the chest pain had anything to do with GI problem. He directed that I should immediately seek an appointment with a cardiologist. I consulted Dr VK Srinivas who was a Cardiologist at Mallya Hospital. He immediately conducted a ECHO cardiogram   & said this was a clear case of damaged Aoertic valve & the disease was known as Aortic Valve Stenosis (AVS) & advised me to get an Angiogram & get the surgery done for the valve. Since I needed to consult Somu & Shekar I asked for some time. The next day Shekar had fixed up an appointment with Dr VS Prakash of NarayanaHrudayalaya at MS Ramiah College premises. He also did an ECHO & he was also of the opinion that I should get the surgery done at the earliest.  On 27th I went to Sri Jayadeva Hospital for a checkup. The Drs there, Dr Jayasheelan & Dr Kapil Rangan examined all reports & opined that I have to undergo surgery for valve replacement & bypass if the coronary arteries are damaged. I am planning to get these things done by first week of Oct 2013
